How to use Emre
A short walkthrough of everything you can read, join, and contribute to on Emre.
Step 1
Create an accountCreate your account
Sign up with email, Google, or Apple. You can browse everything logged out, but an account lets you comment, vote, join communities, and save what you love.
Step 2
Open the LibraryRead the Library
Research papers and theological analyses live in the Library. Search by title or filter by category, read the abstract online, download the PDF, and bookmark papers to return to later.
Step 3
Browse DiscoveriesExplore Discoveries
Browse Christ-centered films, shows, books, podcasts, music, ministries, and businesses. Open a discovery for the full story, save it, or join the community built around it.
Step 4
See communitiesJoin a community
Every community shows its description and member count before you join. Once you're in, the room works like a live chat — messages, emojis, and replies appear in real time.
Step 5
Go to Q&AAsk and answer
Post a question in Q&A and members answer with grace. Vote helpful answers up, and click any name to see that person's profile, communities, and activity.
Step 6
Open MessagesMessage and make Emmys
Tap any member to preview their profile, then become Emmys. Chat privately in Messages — share photos, react with emojis and recommend discoveries. Notifications keep you up to date with replies, requests and invitations.
Still stuck? Ask the community in Q&A.
